l'Ausangate è un massiccio grandioso sia per altezza che per estensione- è la montagna sacra del Perù ed è circondato ai piedi dei ghiacciai da lagune di vari colori poste a 4.500 / 5.000 m -in 16 del nostro gruppo Cai abbiamo fatto il periplo toccando quote spesso a 5.000 m con 8 pernottamenti in tenda- abbiamo anche effettuato una salita ad una cima di 5.800 m (arrivando però a circa 5.500 a causa di neve inconsistente che non ci ha permesso di proseguire- un'esperienza magnifica condivisa tra amici del nostro sodalizio orobico
