durante il trekking che fa il giro in quota al Nevado Ausangate , tentiamo di salire una cima a circa 5.800 m di quota- è la cima Catalina , una delle vette del massiccio- la neve andina però per la sua inconsistenza formata nella parte alta da micro pallini ghiacciati non ci consente di procedere a causa di sprofondamento tanto da non riuscire più ad alzare la gamba per il passo successivo- a malincuore dovremo interrompere a circa 5.500 m (peccato- la cima era a vista ma impossibile)- quel giorno siamo stati coinvolti per quasi 11 ore tra salita e discesa da un altro versante-
