Questa piazza accoglie la magnifica chiesa barocca di Sant'Alessandro in Zebedia, costruita a partire dal 1601 sotto il patrocinio del cardinale Federico Borromeo e su progetto del padre Barnabita Lorenzo Binago, cui si affiancherà più tradi Francesco Maria Richini (vedi i link nel commento sottostante). Questa è la mia preferita tra le piazze milanesi. Così bella che mi sembra di essere a Roma pittuosto che nel capolugo lombardo. In considerazione di ciò, ho scelto le 3 del pomeroggio per ottenere un'atmosfera più solare e, in un certo senso, più "romana". # In questa foto ho fatto uso del programma DxO ViewPoint 3 per mettere a piombo le linee verticali. Poi con lo stesso software, e con Photoshop, ho "compresso" la parte in alto e quelle ai lati, onde contenere gli effetti della deformazione anamorfica (o marginale). Quindi con la funzione "Trasforma > Altera" di Photoshop ho rittoccato alcune linee che si erano incurvate in seguito alla precedente operazione. #Piazze#Chiese#Barocco#Monumenti

All'inizio del primo video afferma che Milano, quanto al patrimonio costituito dalle chiese, è "seconda solo a Roma nel mondo". Penso che, sui palazzi pubblici e nobilari, Venezia (con il Palazzo Ducale e la palazzata sul Canal Grande) e Firenze (bastano i soli Palazzo Vecchio, Medici-Riccardi, Strozzi e Pitti) surclassano Milano (che oltretutto ne ha persi alcuni con i bombardamenti)... poi ci sarebbe in ballo anche Genova con la Strada Nuova e i palazzi dei Rolli... Roma non la conto perché è fuori concorso anche sotto questo aspetto... ma riguardo alle chiese mi sa che ha ragione Daverio.

Da un PdR più favorevole, in quanto è meglio visibile il campanile di sinstra con il relativo orologio; e anche la cupola la si vede meglio.
Giovedì non mi sono pouto piazzare in quel punto perché c'era un veicolo parcheggiato.
Oggi, essendo una giornata con un sole piuttosto velato, ho rinunciato all'"atmosfera più solare e, in un certo senso, più romana"; e ho puntato sul bianco e nero.
