Tatooine or Sardinia? I wanted to take this Star Wars shot for some time, but I needed a desert do do it, finally in Porto Pino I found the right landscape. I wandered a lot for the perfect framing during my location scouting. The idea was to go on top of a dune, but from there the view was too wide and showed the sea, destroying the “fake desert” intent. So I opted for a different spot and this cool foreground. This was the last shoot in this location, and was almost bluehour, so I rushed the 10 shots of 10 ""ISO 16000 for the sky, before the light was too much, then I started the foreground. I made a staking of 4 shots of 30 ""ISO 2000 and one for the lightpainting on the sand. I had to make a lot of attempts to add my figure as a Jedi… fun fact how I made the set up: a decathlon microfiber bathrobe (€ 19) + decathlon base torch (€ 9) + two A4 sheets rolled up and sticked to the torch to fake the lightsaber. #mytheforcebewithyou
