in sedici, oltre ai conducenti dei piccoli cavalli al seguito, stiamo salendo un valico a circa 5.000 m- la laguna sottostante non è molto più bassa - i colori sono molto contrastati a causa della quota e della particolare nitidezza dell'aria- dormiremo vicino a questo posto nelle nostre tende (a due) che ci verranno montate dagli accompagnatori locali, che sono persone eccezionali -8 piccoli cavalli portano due delle nostre sacche per un totale di sedici contenitori dell'abbigliamento e attrezzatura da montagne per un paio di salite l'Ausangate , alto 6.380 m è la montagna sacra del Perù
