i Quechua sono un insieme di più etnie che condividono usi e stili di vita legati alle alture dell'America meridionale. come Perù, Bolivia ed Ecuador- condividono anche la lingua madre "Quechua" da cui derivò la civiltà Incas - tratti somatici principali mascelle forti e zigomi sporgenti e naso tipicamente aquilino - questo anziano sugli altipiano oltre Tinqui, dove parte il trekking dell'Ausangate si è mostrato a noi facendoci capire che soffriva di congiuntivite- così dopo avergli somministrato alcune gocce sono riuscito a strappargli un ritratto (dietro lo sfocato dell'Ausangate, 6.380 m)
