I like this use of canvases, I have already been able to appreciate it even in some photos of Viola (Perfume of lavender, to name one): there is the vision of a particular in a whole, it is as if a dream gradually took shape, unlike the classic macros of almost documentary mold.

Thanks Michele, I'm glad you appreciated the intent and type of shot.
I wanted to immerse myself in that flowery chaos, letting details, elements, but above all textures and colors shine through.
With a 300 mm f2.8 it would be even better but you do with what you have! ;-)

Great realization of this research of yours.
Delicate, beautiful shades.
I really like it, hello.
Manufacturing ;-)

Thanks Fabry! :-)
I know that it may seem a trivial shot and perhaps not very successful, but I assure you that for me it is damn difficult to photograph these simple but beautiful flowers in a non-"documentary" way (as Michele said)!

It is not at all trivial or unsuccessful, on the contrary ...
First I mentioned Viola precisely because it is a type of photography that she has proposed several times, always convincingly and with equipment not at the top, and yours reminded me: they are the images that I appreciate the most, those where the ability to see prevails over mere technique.
Community, the 135 mm f/2 is not bad ;-)

You're right Michele! :-D
I love the 135, not just as a portrait lens! ;-)
Thanks for the passage!

I really think that better than this you could not do
flowers also present in my places, I also observe them for a while ' but currently I have not yet had the courage to try to shoot, perhaps even xche are usually on the side of the roads with a background immediately interrupted by disturbing elements .... but this is another story and definitely my lack ;-)
compliments x the pictorial rendering and full of charm
hello :-)

Hello Alberto,
siccome you mentioned the 300 f2:8 I felt "brought up" :-D
A my way of seeing there is too much confusion at the look, there are elements almost in focus that disturb the vision. Precisely because you do not have a tele f2:8 I would have reduced the framed elements by focusing only one / two flowers and with the others very close to the lens in order to create colored spots.
I don't know if I made the idea.
A greeting.
Marco.

Thanks Simone!
maybe even xwho are usually on the side of the roads with a background immediately interrupted by disturbing elements ...

I agree with what you write: for this reason it is difficult for me to photograph them... Here I found a large group in a field far enough away from disturbing elements and I decided to try, but the result does not fully satisfy me ...

Marco, did your ears whistle by any chance? :-D :-D :-D
When I wrote that sentence about the equipment I was thinking of you and the beautiful shots you made with your 300 f2.8! :-P With the long focal length the planes are better compressed and the generous opening creates the right isolation of a particular element. With the 135, although f2, there are limits and you can see them all. I tried to do as you suggest and after several attempts this was the best result... Despite being in group, they are strange flowers because they grow sparse on very branched shrubs and therefore do not give a good cover. Here a more suitable equipment could make the difference ...
I don't say anything else, though, I've made this hodgepodge to you! :-D

yes Alberto you succeeded ! I really like in its simplicity with the use of the selective diaphragm excellent colors of the flowers scattered on the frame . as far as I'm concerned it's great hello Peter ;-)

Ciao, Alberto.

Alberto, now everything is clearer :-D , but it was enough that I gave myself reason :-D
Cmq, the next time you decide to sweat sitting in the sun, I do not recommend nettles and wild thistles :-D

Ciao

Ric
