Il cammino e' lungo e faticoso. Si sale……...sempre. Dietro gli uomini e le cose divengono piccoli. Uno strano silenzio mi accompagna. Il vento spinge i ricordi lontano…….. dove fanno meno male, la' nel punto piu' alto; dove non cessa ma di soffiare, ripetendo eternamente lo stesso rumore. Le nuvole, sempre vicine, vanno e vengono, simili ad una fugace apparizione. La fatica viene sopraffatta dallo stupore. Ecco la cima…………………… una croce, quasi a simboleggiare una presenza viva, eterna. Intorno, lo spazio, il vuoto, l'immenso, che mi sembra di poter abbracciare, come il cielo, cosi' vicino!…………...Dio! Meravigliosa sensazione essere uomo, cosi' piccolo e cosi' grande!
