Mio nonno materno, Francesco Venuti. Ritratto qui negli anni '30 dello scorso secolo nei suoi primi quaranta anni. Fu ingegnere impiegato all'ufficio dell'acquedotto di Messina in cui lavorò per riparazioni anche durante i bombardamenti alleati. Dopo la guerra, dati due anni passati a San Francisco a cercare lavoro da più giovane, fu consultato dagli ufficiali alleati durante l'amministrazione militare della città. Sposò mia nonna Jenny Vassallo, figlia dell'ex console italiano a New Yiork a cavallo fra XIX e XX secolo. Da lui ho preso il nome. Scansione realizzata con Pentax K1+smc Pentax 100mm f 2.8 Macro in modalità Pixel Shift.
