Devo ammettere che mai avrei immaginato il livello di difficoltà nel riprendere a dovere questo soggetto. erroneamente immaginavo che un picchio monocolore che arriva a 50 cm di grandezza non richiedesse chissà quale impegno per far sì che il piumaggio fosse ben definito. Ahimè un errore di pensiero che mi ha fatto rivalutare gli scatti degli amici che di questo soggetto ne fanno il loro cavallo di battaglia. Il nido all'interno del bosco dove raramente arriva la luce, se non per qualche piccolo spazio tra le foglie, mette in seria difficolta il focus delle macchine, e per giunta date le dimensione della testa, il soggetto si fà ombra da solo su buona parte del corpo. insomma, per farla breve, 12 ore di auto, due sessioni da 8 ore mimetizzati nel bosco, e solo 2 scatti che ritengo all'altezza di essere publicati.
