Biga, è un piccolo progetto che sto coltivando in maniera non costante da un paio d'anni. E' nato da una mia idea, frequentando il Trasimeno sin da piccolo. Quando fotografare per fotografare ha smesso di interessarmi, ho sentito la necessità di impegnarmi in qualcosa che avesse uno scopo. Così ho preso contatto con alcuni di loro, parlandoci tranquillamente mentre tornavano dalla pesca. Da qui, ho coltivato questi rapporti in modo naturale e spontaneo, conquistando rispetto e fiducia. Questa esperienza mi ha fatto capire la necessità di una conoscenza profonda ed autentica di ciò che si vuole raccontare, per poterne cogliere aspetti estetici ma, soprattutto, di senso. Le immagini credo debbano sedimentarsi emotivamente. I visi, i luoghi, le espressioni tipiche, le movenze, i gesti, i caratteri, ti devono essere familiari per poterli raccontare al meglio.
