Gaetano, thank you :-) Yes, how many memories.... this machine was a museum piece already then 8-) If I remember correctly, the office inventory was purchased in 1934! :-o .... Escaped the bombings of 1943 and the flood of 1949... and especially to the fingers of amateur and professional typists who have tried their hand at her :-P
Cyo and good weekends.

Beautiful photo that makes me go back in time, I have always been fascinated by these magical machines that moving their arms beat on paper and then the letters appeared. It makes me smile thinking about today's technology. The old ones are even more fascinating. Congratulations on the photo and the wonderful recovery work of the old shot. I really like it.
Valeeeee medal of honor! :-P :-)
A warm greeting and good weekend

Vale :-D By the way, I liked to have the levers of the characters crouched and framed together by pressing several keys at the same time :-D :-D

Paola, thank you :-) I can confirm that I too was attracted to the ancient charm of this machine. He thinks that while there are several modern and electric typewriters in the office, I often used this one for my own needs. I remember that only with this machine you could have at the same time as 6 copies of the same document (6 sheets and 5 of thin charcoal paper) pressing the keys ;-)
We then came the PCs with their printers :-/ ........
Cyo and good Sunday.

Beautiful and original shot. I still have a specimen of this beautiful machine that belonged to my father and with which, by the way, I beat the drafts of my thesis, when the PCs were not yet widespread.
Buon we :-)
