Con il 400mm l is Do mi trovo molto bene. Lo uso ultimamente all'80% con extender 2x e al 20% con extender 1.4x ... raggiungo così i 560 e 800mm mantenendo l'af su aps-h . E' un is da 2 stop ma mi servono per aumentare i margini di operatività. A 560mm è meno nitido del canon 300mm f.2,8 is +extender 2x . L'is è silenziosissimo e l'ottica è leggera ma robusta.
Il 400mm f.5,6 è fantastico, molti lo usano a tutta apertura ma migliora ancora se si chiude a f.7,1 o f.8.
Con l'extender 1.4x ha ancora una buona nitidezza su aps-h
