Ogni anno, grazie al regalo di un caro amico, posso permettermi il lusso di affidare una chitarra elettrica all'allievo o allieva che ritengo abbiano bisogno di un ulteriore stimolo (ulteriore perché volontà e curiosità sono già forti ed esuberanti in questi casi). A volte, raramente, l'ho affidata a chi invece era evidentemente talentuoso ma carente nell'applicazione nella speranza che servisse a ricaricare le batterie con un'iniezione di fiducia. (questo sistema non funziona mai...) Quest'ultimo anno è stato un fulgido esempio del primo caso: Oskar, allievo all'International School of Siena, 11 anni, mio studente da due, ha dimostrato di meritare l'elettrica oltre ogni rosea aspettativa, migliorando in valore assoluto più di ogni altro tra i miei piccoli. Non è il migliore ma è quello che è migliorato di più! (ma quindi è il migliore davvero!) Best student 20/21: Oskar!
