#chiese #architettura #romanico #lombardia

Romanesque enchantment of Pavese
one of the most interesting facades of the Romanesque period, too bad for the choice of sandstone, which over time has suffered obvious erosion
emprico, always impeccable!

Thank you Simone.
I have in my house a book by Gino Chierici, published in 1942, with a complete photographic documentation in bn of the sculptures si S. Michele: it is impressive the progression of deterioration from '42 to today, a process that had already begun then but that still left readable some images that today are not or almost.

very interesting.... contemporary time therefore seems much more exhausting and aggressive.... unfortunately
