In preda al MAl d' Africa, questa notte mi sono in battuto in questo scatto di qualche anno fa.... Licaoni fotografati nella Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dopo anni in cui era praticamente impossibile ci sono sono stati 3/4 anni in cui, andandoli a cercare pazientemente in qualche area al di fuori dei soliti itinerari nella Ngorongoro Conservation Area con un po' di fortuna e tanta tenacia si riuscivano a vedere. C'era un branco in crescita con diversi esemplari radiocollarati che però poi sono stati sterminati! Nel 2019, quando ho fatto il mio ultimo safari sembrava che ci fosse qualche segnale di ripresa e, dopo due anni di notizie scarse, spero che nel 2022, quando andremo, avremo l' opportunità di osservarli perchè sono davvero animali fantastici.
