Il palazzo ducale di Colorno, noto anche come reggia di Colorno, fu costruito agli inizi del XVIII secolo dal duca Francesco Farnese sui resti della rocca di Colorno.La Reggia di Colorno è una complessa e monumentale struttura architettonica, con oltre 400 sale, corti e cortili, abbracciata dal torrente Parma, dalla piazza e da un giardino alla francese di recente ripristinato.
