In settimana mi chiama Carlo, l'amico di una vita. “Perché non andiamo a farci due giorni al mare? Sarà un anno che non esco dal paese!”. Conosciamo bene Sestri Levante e la baia del silenzio; per anni abbiamo partecipato al cimento invernale, ovvero una garetta non competitiva di nuoto, della durata di ca 300 m, che veniva organizzata la prima domenica di dicembre dalla lega navale del posto. La particolarità? Tassativo lo slip e vietata la muta; una goliardata ottima per divertirsi e trovarsi a mangiare qualcosa lontano da casa. Cosi ci siamo detti “Finalmente vedremo Sestri con il bel tempo e il caldo!”. A causa ovviamente della pandemia, è stato un anno psicologicamente difficile. Dire di no a una proposta tale è stato impossibile, tanto più che siamo amici da 30 anni e il feeling è incredibile. Così sabato mattina si parte; la giornata scorre liscia fra aperitivo, pranzo e il primo bagno dell'anno. Verso sera ci prepariamo per una sonora mangiata di pesce (e che cena!), ma mentre aspettiamo che si liberi il posto ecco che il cielo si colora. Via di corsa quindi a montare il treppiede, qualche foto di prova (attento all'istogramma, capperi!) ed ecco che il cielo ligure dà il meglio di sè. Finito lo spettacolo, le nostre pance hanno avuto la rivalsa che si meritavano. Due giorni che sognavo da tempo, fra cibo, sole, mare e buon vino, che ho cercato di incorniciare in questa foto.

Thanks Mario! I had taken the end of the wall, but I had to make a small crop to straighten it all out. I preferred to sacrifice that side because on the other side the sky was more colorful.
