From experience in naturalistic photography you take very short times, I threw away many shots because I had photographed subjects apparently stationary with times under the thousandth (freehand).
E then you have to be always ready, the animal could take flight and at that point it becomes complicated to set the right times (at least for me of course).
And then, these were the very first photos taken with this machine and I honestly wanted to test the much vaunted low noise performance with high ISOs!
