Good composition and colors, but I don't see an area really in focus... |

You're right, I've bet on a hyperfocal, as much as possible, with a 135 mm, and it's obviously quite utopian. Moreover, working in manual focus with the focus assistant that colors everything red (as happens on the a7III) makes you work with intuition, with the aggravating of freehand use. The old Sonnar 135 C/Y, which I have had for decades, is a splendid goal, but it forces you to work in these conditions with current cameras. I felt, however, that the image obtained was rather pictorial and that is what prompted me to propose it.

I totally understand... I use Nikon ai manual focus optics ( 135 f 3.5- 200 f4 - and 80-200 f 4.5 ) but with my Nikon 750 I can take advantage of the performing "green dot" that informs me of the perfect focus on every single area of the framed scene. I know the "red zone" of Sony's electronic viewfinder with its simulator that in fact does not define the pdf very well. I know because even a friend of mine who also posts here about Juza has the same difficulties as you... don't crunch the photo you posted is still valid. :fsmile Ciao , Nando |
