-My Bet- Le condizioni meteorologiche nella fotografia outdoor sono cruciali. Per questo si pianifica tutto, per evitare di tornare a casa a mani vuote. Eppure, un paio di giorni fa, mentre sono in postazione per realizzare il mio scatto in uno dei luoghi più belli d'Italia, mi ritrovo in una bufera di pioggia e vento, che non doveva essere lì. Ormai ho guidato più di 200km e decido di aspettare il tramonto, che però non arriverà. Ho ancora una notte a disposizione in Abruzzo, voglio ritentare ma sono previste nuvole basse verso le 8PM, le peggiori per fotografare, perché oscurano il sole proprio nel momento più bello. Ma durante la bufera, il giorno prima, ho il tempo di studiare quella piccola finestra del castello di Rocca Calascio. Il primo piano è basso, troppo per essere fotografato con le ultime luci del tramonto. L'inclinazione perfetta per illuminare tutto dovrebbe essere circa 15 minuti prima del tramonto… decido di scommettere che il sole sarà ancora abbastanza alto da non andare a nascondersi dietro le nuvole, ma abbastanza basso da darmi una luce radente. In foto la chiesa di Santa Maria della Pietà, fotografata dal castello di Rocca Calascio e il mio compagno di viaggio…che ha deciso di scommettere con me.
