un'architettura forse unica nel suo genere questa antica casa del 400 nel comune di Averara (valle Brembana)-chiamata anche casa della dogana, anche se sembra poco probabile questo uso. probabilmente invece sera di un mercante benestante che l'aveva voluta perché si trovava appunto sulla via "mercatorum"- una via di passaggio merci che andava poi in Valtellina e quindi nei Grigioni svizzeri-
