La dipendenza si vede e si palpa , secondo il mio pdv, dalla tensione emotiva e dal "pathos" che si respira e che aleggia nella scena inquadrata, si legge dai volti preoccupati e contratti delle persone, chi gioca a carte in una partita fra amici non ha lo stesso aspetto, ma appare più rilassato, sorridente e scherzoso, in questa scena scompare l'aspetto ludico del gioco di carte, per spuntare improvvisamente il dramma psicologico di chi con la dipendenza da gioco, non infrequentemente, rovina se stesso e la propria famiglia. Anzi Takayama, IMHO, è riuscito a trasporre in quest'immagine, con padronanza tecnica ed ispirazione, la scarica di adrenalina che passa nel sangue degli scommettitori.  P.S. Anche la scelta del b/n appare ottima per esaltare, fra luci ed ombre, i toni della scena inquadrata.
