La primavera del 2021 dal punto di vista erpetologico è stata un po' complicata, soprattutto per le condizioni meteorologiche altalenanti, le poche giornate calde e l'improvviso calo termico degli ultimi giorni non mi hanno permesso di osservare molte vipere, solo qualche maschio che timidamente si affaccia dal suo rifugio invernale termoregolandosi per pochi minuti nelle ore centrali o alle prime luci del mattino. In una giornata con temperatura straordinariamente calda ho avuto la fortuna di osservare due maschi incrociarsi nel rituale combattimento primaverile. È sempre bello vedere come la natura riprende annualmente il suo ciclo, a volte scontato a volte imprevedibile ma sempre capace di sorprendermi
