Too bad you don't have the Tamron with Canon attack, it would have been a very useful test for me :-P
Buona Pasqua Ema ;-)

Making sure it's a great photo, so, congratulations! I take this opportunity to ask you something given your experience! I'm also using the 105 sigma though on a RP with standard adapter. I noticed, however, that the images turn out to be much darker than when I used it on EF attack. I imagined that it was normal given the existence of the adapter, however, with the fifty canon (50 IS STM) the same thing does not happen. Did you also experience a much darker recovery than usual or does everything seem normal to you?
Thane for your patience.

Yes, I confirm that I noticed the same problem, only with this goal... but to solve just set the compensation to +0.7 or +1 stop :-)

Another thing that interests you to know and if, with the 105 Sigma you can use the focus bracketing function in the machine.

It would be curious to try the new Canon RF 100 IS 2.8 Macro that is about to come out to see the differences.

Alessandro I tried to make it with the RP and it gave me problems! I bring back my experience... I made 4 series in focus bracketing without any problem, so successful that I was amazed at the result even with 70 photos! Then all of a while it started not working... To make a flower I took 1000 photos and no series had come out! The focus didn't vary! A few days later I tried to make a small insect and out of 3 series one came out while the other 2 did not! So for my experience it doesn't lend itself to that function.. Or at least it's swinging! However I didn't get a chance to update the firmware! Maybe that solves the problem!

Thank you Fester, I would use it on R5, maybe work them differently... I'm sorry for your unsatisfactory experience :-(

couldn't tell you for sure... I tried and it doesn't work, but the 105mm in question already had AF issues of its own.
