1/160 f/2.8, ISO 640,

La mia serie “ my quarantine in Bergamo” è tra le vincitrici dello “state of the world “ di Parigi.

It's feeling socially rejected, andconimically. The toilet, the bidet and (NOT) the human being are part of the sanitary ware.
Warning square!!
You have considerable mental strength, I understand when I look at your photographs. One who takes photographs like this, has the ability to plan, to create....... out of nowhere. The light of creativity ... Brilliant.
This hat!!
A greeting, indeed, two !

Silvia the shot perfectly makes the anguish of the period you are experiencing. There would be many words to say and many considerations to make ....
I just have to say... why all this since a year later we are at the starting point?

Hi Silvia.
I'm looking at your pictures.
I have only one question in my head
'Why' ?
Because something drives me to photograph things
and you to photograph others,
diametrically opposed.
Why photograph the discomfort of
who wasn't lucky ?
Why stop on the road to life.
suddenly turn on some of its aspects?
I don't think it's
because the road is flowing for everyone in the same direction..
and we all go inexorably
towards the exact same exit door.

And no dear Silvia,
I asked you questions.
At the very least you
try to sketch some kind of answer.
Then.. do as you please..

To answer you I use the same metaphor as you, which is that of the door. For me photography is an art form, understood as a way that man has to represent himself and life before he dies. Art is a door. If you don't get in, you might not understand it, maybe even mock or despise it. If you enter it, you open up a world. Things that didn't say anything before start telling you a lot. Things acquire form and meaning. I photograph with this fire inside. I have the fire to tell stories with artistic intent. So not with a humanitarian purpose, but purely artistic. To reflect on things before you die. Then I look for contrast and beauty where you don't usually go looking for it, because this is my fire.

Of course, thank you.
We have the same reason to photograph,
with the difference, at this point irrelevant..
that I am content with beauty
and to find it where my eyes see it.
Anyway..
wasn't a metaphor.
I really believe that this is an exit door..
to go somewhere else.
Ove this... and very different.
