La stanza di Anna. Storie di Gioacchino e Anna. Registro superiore della parete sud. Giotto, Cappella degli Scrovegni, Padova. A sinistra in basso “Annuncio di un angelo ad Anna della nascita di Maria”. A destra in basso “La nascita di Maria” (registro superiore della parete nord, Storie di Maria). Le due foto in basso sono scaricate dal web. Sopra: “Ricostruzione della casa di Anna” presente nella sala multimediale del museo degli Eremitani, adiacente alla Cappella degli Scrovegni. Foto scattata per gentile concessione della responsabile della Sala: mi ha permesso di rimuovere momentaneamente alcune transenne mobili. Padova, 2019. La storia è questa: Gioacchino viene cacciato dal Tempio dal Sacerdote Ruben perché non ha ancora avuto una discendenza. Egli si reca poi sui monti dai suoi pastori dove sacrifica un agnello e lì vi rimane per ca. 5 mesi. Anna rimane sola in casa. Un Angelo appare ad entrambi annunciando loro la nascita di colei che sarà la madre di Gesù Cristo. Gioacchino riceve dall'Angelo la preghiera di ritornare da Anna.
