Quarta parte del racconto dedicato alla mia visita a Colonnata tra "bianco lardo" e "bianco marmo. Alla ricerca di Kobra – Un trekking nel cuore delle Alpi Apuane, dove lo sguardo spazia tra mare e montagna e il paesaggio racconta la storia dell'arte e del marmo. Vi propongo il percorso se qualcuno lo vuole affrontare, alternativa si può salire e scendere dalle cave di Cima Gioia solo nei giorni di festa. Si parte dalla Piazza di Colonnata (mt 638), attraverso un ripido sentiero molto panoramico (n.195) che si districa tra i calcari apuani, direzione Cima d'Uomo (mt.960). Arrivati alla cima, dopo aver affrontato il dislivello maggiore, proseguiremo verso Foce Luccica (mt 1033). Con il sentiero n.38 che scende dal Monte Sagro raggiungeremo le Case del Vergheto (mt 900), vecchio borgo di pastori e attualmente alpeggio estivo per i pochi pastori rimasti in attività, per poi immetterci nel sentiero n.169 che ci porterà al Monte Tamburone (mt 800) attraversando un bosco di castagni secolari e un breve tratto in cresta molto panoramico. Dal Monte Tamburone, raggiungeremo Cima Gioia dove si trova il Murales del David di Michelangelo dipinto dal writer brasiliano Kobra.
