I calanchi sono una particolare formazione geomorfologica di erosione del terreno che a causa degli agenti atmosferici provoca profondi solchi nel terreno lungo il fianco di un monte od una collina, fenomeno particolarmente presente nel territorio collinare delle mie parti. La luce calda del tramonto tinge di una tonalità dorata il grigio del terreno.
