A parte gli scherzi, la foto è molto bella ma forse lo sfondo confonde alcune parti, almeno sulla dx, dove bastava schermare con qualcosa di scuro per avere la stessa resa della parte terminale

grazie ancora a tutti, anche per i consigli, in realtà credo si possa migliorare anche l'effetto luce che viene da destra, in questo caso non ho usato maschere di livello anche se vale la pena provarci...mea culpa...

l'ho trovato per caso...e devo dire che mi ha impressionato per le dimensioni...attorno ai 10cm. sicuramente, ho dovuto allontanarmi per cercare di avere uno sfondo decente viste le dimensioni, la pianta è quella che vedi nello scatto anche se le foglie se l'era pappate, non ho riconosciuto di che pianta si trattasse...
il luogo è tra la provincia di Padova e Treviso, nei pressi di un piccolo laghetto...

I found it by accident ... and I must say that I was impressed by the size ... around 10cm. of course, I had to withdraw to try to have a decent background of its size, the plant is what you see in the shot although the leaves if the pappate was, I did not recognize the plant that it was ...

non sapevo si riproducesse in Italia, ho ne ho visto degli esemplari in Sicilia, a Capopassero, punta estrema dell'Italia e credo che arrivino con i forti venti dall'africa, ma il sfatto che si riproduca anche in Italia e più a nord mi sorprende, certo che il clima sta cambiando parecchio ...

I could not reproduce it in Italy, I have seen specimens in Sicily, Capopassero, the tip of Italy and I think they come with strong winds from Africa, but the unmade future occurrence in Italy and further north I surprising, of course the climate is changing a lot ...

ciao Ciro, è un bruco bellissimo e davvero enorme, il primo impatto mi ha lasciato a bocca aperta, questa posizione è quella tipica di difesa, a sfinge per l'appunto...è comunque piu bello da bruco, piuttosto inquietante da falena con le sembianze di un teschio che appaiono nel groppone...
davvero curioso il fatto che si senta il rumore delle mandibole quando mastica, ma data la mole...
