Il villaggio di Bimtang si trova a 3.800mt a valle del Larke Pass (5.106mt), il punto più alto del Manaslu Trekking. Lo si raggiunge dopo quasi 10 ore di cammino e, ad accogliermi, due piccoli lodge composti da qualche casetta in legno ed un locale per la doccia (senza tetto ...). Si cena al caldo e si raccolgono le forze per la lunga discesa del giorno successivo che ci porterà ad agganciarci al più frequentato Annapurna trekking.
