Casualmente e con immenso stupore, arrampicando in Appennino, mi sono imbattuto in un nido di Gheppio e i suoi pulli, a di poco spaventati, hanno cercato di scacciarmi con furiose beccate....il tempo di alcune foto e...via di corsa !!

Il piumaggio ricorda certamente quello del Gheppio, ma ti posso assicurare che erano piu' grandi di un Gheppio adulto quindi ho scartato l'ipotesi.
Mi sono documentato su libri e conoscendo la fauna locale sono quasi sicuro che siano pulcini di poiana, ma anche io non sono onniscente e potrei sbagliarmi.
Lascio il responso a chi e' piu' esperto di me. Sorriso

Non e' una foto attuale, risale al 02 Luglio del 2005.
Guardando su internet, facendo una ricerca approfondita, effettivamente, sembrano proprio dei pulcini di Gheppio, un po' obesi, ma direi che mi sbagliavo.

Grazie per le ulteriori informazioni. In effetti, non essendo possibile stabilirne le dimensioni sull'immagine, non è semplice valutare. Se tu confermi che erano più grossi di un Gheppio adulto ok. Considera comunque che nella fase di crescita, molto spesso i pulli rasentano l'obesità!!! ...per poi rimettersi in linea con "snellimenti" (...e perdita dello strato adiposo in eccesso, che si trasforma in muscolo,) e prepararsi all'involo con ginnastiche propedeutiche di alcuni giorni.
