- Valleè Blanche - Il mio sguardo è inizialmente rapito e a tratti atterrito dagli enormi crepacci del ghiacciaio del monte Bianco. Poi quasi mi commuovo al cospetto del Grand Capucin col il suo granito rosso, un luogo per me mitico, dove Bonatti accompagnato dall'amico Ghigo scrisse negli anni '50 una delle più belle storie di quell'alpinismo soprannominato “eroico”, portando l'arrampicata su un nuovo livello di difficoltà nonostante i mezzi tecnici fossero allora quasi inesistenti. Vedo qui la storia della terra, con la sua geologia, e ripercorro quella molto più recente dell'uomo. Un uomo che è piccolo al cospetto della natura, e che in questi luoghi con essa si misura senza però alterarla, libero così di ritrovare sé stesso.
