The Markarian chain is part of the so-called Virgo cluster, a very rich group of galaxies and takes its name because galaxies seem to follow a slightly curved line... remind me of the pendants of a necklace! ;-)

Nice field.
I'm not noisy, probably because of the lack of integration.
Can try to recover edge defects with the Star Tools Repair module which is simply miraculous.

Thank you for your suggestion... Try!
P.S. It's almost 4 hours of integration, but seeing was really bad

You got a great photograph of great impact, very nice compliments, of the noise they have already told you, but as you have highlighted if the conditions are not very favorable...

Capisco.
Out of curiosity, what workflow do you use for noise reduction?

There you go, no workflow... :-D I'm still studying it, because I can't disguise the bottom of the sky in a way!
For the moment I use Lightroom and it's all saying!

It would be enough for me to be able to photograph it (the noise) :-D

Beh then I tell you that if no targeted reduction has been applied to that image.... it's a great picture!
PixInsight is deadly about these things. And it's full of online tutorials.

To me the TSFLAT is driving me crazy, with the LPro filter I get a central mega halo, while with 0.8X no problem. Damn it.

I also used the LPro filter... but is yours the 2" TSFLAT2?

Looking at the photo intrigued me this blue spot...

I found out it's a galaxy... what a particular shape!
