Galaverna, California sent on January 31, 2021 (10:47) by Gsabbio. 9 comments, 572 views. [retina]

, 1/100 f/3.5, ISO 100, hand held.

Diapositiva su Kodachrome 200 pro, ottica Nikkor AF 180 f2.8 su F801 esposizione manuale.

I have now added the text, thank you.
I'll tell you one thing: there's a discussion going on about digital Kodachrome simulation www.juzaphoto.com/topic2.php?l=en&t=3849812&show=last#22281774
and then I went to get some gods that I had already duplicated digitally, to publish it on Juza in order to make it clear how this film had an admirable rendering of color and a very wide tonal range. The result was a surprise to me too, because the photos I uploaded shine for the beauty of the colors as the gods in Kodachrome immediately stood out from all the others. As I process them I'm really amazed

I really like the contrast between whites and violets, especially the tree in the background. Do you think these films are simulated well? Because I'm a little skeptical.

the photo is very beautiful for the search for the most creative lighting and for the composition. Obviously a little penalized by scanning both in the return of detail and in the grain, it must give its best in projection, the environment for which it was born. And I think it's very beautiful

Guys... it's the Kodachrome!
You don't realize what the world of photography has lost until you go and see the images taken with that film.
I've already written it elsewhere: the PKR give emerge immediately in the middle of the others (E6 emulsions) even if they are not recognizable by the frame. Their color is really unique.
I think that, among other things, it depended on the sensitivity of that film even in the near infrared, which allowed it to 'squeeze' warm shades even in very cold light conditions.
