Alla fine siamo riusciti a vederli anche noi! Appena in tempo a quanto pare, la temperatura sta aumentando ed abbiamo visto un'unico gruppetto di 15 individui.

Spiacente avere un opinione diversa da tutti quelli che mi hanno preceduto.
La vedo tutta molto impastata specialmente nella zona del petto.
Perchè f. 5,6???? con il 300 f.2,8 L IS USM e molti 1,4 III serie potevi tranquillamente chiudere anche ad f. 8 e non sarebbe successo nulla, se non abbassare il tempo di scatto, ma avresti ottenuto una incisività ben superiore a favore della pdc, a meno che tu non avessi voluto scattare al pennuto in volo o in stacco.

I see it all very mixed, especially in the chest area.
Why f. 5.6???? with 300 f.2, 8 L IS USM and many 1.4 series III could easily also close to f. 8 and nothing would happen, if not lower the shutter speed, but you'd get a punch well above in favor of the pdc, unless you had not wanted to take the bird in flight or detachment.

Robertino da livorno, hai perfettamente ragione! Ho diversi scatti ad f/8 discretamente più nitidi di questo che comunque, a mio parere, resta lo scatto migliore della giornata per compo, sfondo e postura del soggetto!
Ovviamente non sono riuscito comunque ad avere una foto 'airborne' decente, la 450 fa 3 scatti al secondo e dopo 5 scatti si ferma a salvare...
Robertino from livorno, you're absolutely right! I have several shots at f / 8 discreetly sharper than this which has, in my opinion, is the best shot of the day for compo, background and posture of the subject!
