The composition and the minimal cut in my opinion make it very good, you feel the grandeur. Personally I would see well converted to B / W Regards, Daniel La composizione minimale ed il taglio a mio giudizio rendono molto bene, si percepisce l'imponenza. Personalmente la vedrei bene convertita in B/N. Saluti, Daniele |

beautifully composed, in the sense that the first floor you gave less than 1/3, extolling the grandeur of the waterfall. composta magnificamente, nel senso che al primo piano hai dato meno di 1/3, esaltando l'imponenza della cascata. |

thanks a lot guys! I purposely chose a minimalist composition that would put maximum emphasis in the design of water falling, leaving a visual reference (the girl) for an exact perception of proportions.

Hello Botty! Unlike other pictures you've taken in Iceland this does not strike me, perhaps for the simple fact that I also have taken and that is the inevitable and classicona to do in that location (fantastic to say the least). It is not easy to give your creativity at times but in these places it would be nice, though not simple, try to go further. I'd love to go back soon to try, at the time I was taking only compact! All the best, expect the next boss André Ciao Botty!

Thank you all! @ Rob: I have intrigued! I'll try to make a version in b / w! @ Andrea: Allow me to disagree. I do not think that this is the classical composition we all do. On the practical side, all usually placed near the waterfall while I was positioned just after the car park (approx 200m from the waterfall), to compress the plans with the remote and I wanted to give you an idea of ??proportions and majesty of the wall of water. So much so that I had to wait 3 hours before the beauty of that could happen suitable conditions (no tourists in the middle, and subject only "interesting" ...). I wanted a minimalist shot, that would befit the unequal relationship between man and nature in Iceland, I'd envisioned, and I wanted to take it home at all costs. I would still like to try wide of the compositions under different conditions, even at night, but unfortunately I slept very far from there and then I was not possible. Grazie mille a tutti!! |
