Ottobre 2018 Uno scatto risalente ai giorni della tempesta Vaia, io e i miei amici trovammo la strada per il lago interrotta da diverse frane che si erano abbattute sulla strada, conseguenza delle forti piogge di quei giorni, per questo decidemmo di incamminarci lungo un sentiero che portava verso la valle. Proprio lungo quel sentiero incontrammo questa cascata e il suo fondovalle che grazie alle alle alture che costeggiavano l'intera vallata fù protetta dai forti venti che altrove produssero danni e devastazione.
