Causa COVID, impossibile uscire per fotografare. E allora ho riesumato vecchissimi negativi BN che da tanti anni non vedevano la luce. Tra i tanti ho recuperato alcuni scatti che nei primi mesi del 1990 avevo fatto in un paesino collinare in provincia di Siracusa. Percorrendo una delle vie principali, in cerca di scatti particolari, ad un certo punto ho visto che all'interno di un'abitazione, al piano terra, era parcheggiata accanto al letto ed alcuni mobili, una già vecchia fiat 600! Com'era in uso ai tempi, su una sedia posta fuori dall'uscio, era seduto un anziano signore che poi ho scoperto essere il proprietario della macchina e dell'abitazione. Mi sono mostrato incuriosito dalla macchina elogiandone tutti i pregi ed il proprietario, inorgoglito dai complimenti, ad un certo punto mi chiede di fargli una foto accanto. Era proprio quello che avrei voluto fare!!! E questo è il risultato di quello che reputo un documento interessante che rispecchia in qualche modo quei tempi, in un paesino del profondo Sud, la cui economia era basata sull'agricoltura e le persone tenevano in grande considerazione quello che avevano ottenuto con grande fatica e sudore. Al punto da parcheggiare la propria già vecchissima auto in …. camera da letto!! Seguono un paio di scatti fatti lo stesso giorno per le vie del paese. Pellicola Kodak TMAX400 in pessime condizioni che ha previsto una pesante opera di "restauro".
