Fatta costruire nel 1711 dal duca d'Elboeuf e sita a Portici nelle immediate vicinanze del porto del Granatello, è la prima, in ordine cronologico, delle 122 ville vesuviane del Miglio d'oro. Tre anni dopo questo scatto, parte della villa è crollata sui binari della tratta Napoli-Torre Annunziata. Da allora è completamente transennata.
