Ciao Robycass, hai ragione purtroppo la messa a fuoco non e' sull'occhio ma questo scatto, con il soggetto che mi volava incontro probabilmente non sarei mai riuscito a farlo con la 7D MKII che usavo prima. Questa immagine inoltre ha zero crop, quindi ho dovuto scegliere nella raffica, non necessariamente quello con la migliore messa a fuoco, ma quello dove l'ala del germano non era tagliata.
In risposta alla tua domanda, la R6 con il 400 DO ed extender 1.4X III per me va benissimo. E' il mio set-up ideale e mi permette di scattare a mano libera nel 90% dei casi. Praticamente l'extender e' saldato sull'obiettivo ed e' molto raro che lo tolga, e se lo faccio e' per montare il 2X III MrGreen. Inoltre con questa configurazione la R6 mette a fuoco indipendentemente dalla posizione del soggetto nel mirino. Mi sono quasi dimenticato della necessita' di mettere a fuoco e poi ricomporre e questo ti permette di aumentare l'attenzione sulla composizione della foto.
La R6 e' una gran macchina, senz'altro la migliore che abbia mai avuto e per il tipo di fotografia che faccio e' una manna dal cielo. L'autofocus di cui e' dotato questo corpo permette di fare foto che prima magari tentavo con la 7D II e che poi puntualmente cestinavo dopo averle viste sul PC. La percentuale di scatti a fuoco che ottengo adesso e' disarmante. Mi trovo spesso a dover scegliere in una raffica a 12 f/s fra decine di scatti tutti perfettamente a fuoco, cosa che prima non mi succedeva mai. Sara' colpa del "manico" qualcuno pensera', e giustamente, ma a me va benissimo cosi'.
