Even if you weren't close, you can't complain about the result... unlike the prey that would have been more willingly far away.
The caption helps to enhance the shot.

Thank you Motorfoto, Nedellis and Andrea!
Motorfoto, I can't and I don't want to complain in fact. It's fine. the light was splendid, the scene was crazy. Photographing the hunt probably won't happen to me again, despite returning to India at least once a year, but that's definitely fine! A nice print is there ;-)
I have to say that probably not even the guide expected the hunt because we had found the tiger just before with blood in his mouth, he was eating prey and was almost certainly going to the lake to drink. But if you are in front of a beautiful pomellate deer.......

I agree with the friends who have spoken before me. I had to do 9 safaris before I saw my first tiger and be able to photograph it, I had lost hope, so I understand the commitment, effort and emotion of this amazing shot. Then Alessandro is a professional, but this tiger I'm sure will stay in him for life like mine.
Compliments
Luigi

This is a low blow dear Ale... definitely this is not from zoo (compared to those you usually see around) and you confirmed it in caption how long it takes to have a decende photo.. but of course before your c... (luck) was evident in India... cmq cover at least of NG.. Chapeau!!

Here, these are the Wild shots that differ markedly from the others, shots where there is an action and an emozine and, often, the loss of a life.
The hard law of nature.
Compliments, a document as rare (the tiger on the hunt) as it is beautiful.
Ciao
Riccardo
