Luca, the photo is photoshop blending three images:
I - a focus stacking of about 10 shots (I'm going to memory) to get a focus image of the entire fungus;
II - a single shot for the puff coming out of the hole;
III - a single shot for the cloud higher up.
Third and 3rd shots required a series of attempts, about 400 shots interspersed automatically, dropping drops of water from above to hit the body of the fungus in order to cause it to puff. So I was able to select the best ones.
