Luca, the photo is photoshop blending three images:
I - a focus stacking of about 10 shots (I'm going to memory) to get a focus image of the entire fungus;
II - a single shot for the puff coming out of the hole;
III - a single shot for the cloud higher up.
Third and 3rd shots required a series of attempts, about 400 shots interspersed automatically, dropping drops of water from above to hit the body of the fungus in order to cause it to puff. So I was able to select the best ones.

I - un focus stacking di circa 10 scatti (vado a memoria) per ottenere un'immagine a fuoco dell'intero fungo;
II - uno scatto singolo per lo sbuffo in uscita dal foro;
III - uno scatto singolo per la nuvoletta più in alto.
Per il II e III scatto è stata necessaria una serie di tentativi, circa 400 scatti intervallati in automatico, facendo cadere delle gocce d'acqua dall'alto a colpire il corpo del fungo al fine di provocarne lo sbuffo. Ho potuto così selezionare i migliori.
