Secondo me potresti provare con una maggiore nitidezza nello scatto. Un diaframma più aperto ed una messa a fuoco più curata sull'occhio secondo me avrebbe donato la texture che mancava.
Non so se è il mio monitor, ma quello che vedo è mancanza di forme nel volto
