La Dallara Stradale viene costruita a Varano de' Melegari (PR) negli stabilimenti della Dallara Automobili fondata dall'ingegnere Gian Paolo Dallara nel 1972 dove vengono prodotte vetture per diversi Campionati fra cui la Indy Car, le Formula 2 e 3 e la Formula E. Sono stati pure prodotti telai per alcune vetture di Formula 1. La produzione della Stradale... iniziata nel 2017... prevede una produzione di 120 vetture all'anno per un totale di 600 esemplari. E' dotata di un motore a 4 cilindri di 2300 cm3 di derivazione Ford che... dotato di turbocompressore... eroga 400 cavalli di potenza massima portando la vettura a 280 chilometri orari di velocità massima. La vettura base è una Barchetta che può essere dotata di un hard top rigido (tettuccio) in versione Targa oppure chiuso con portiere ad apertura tipo "Ali di Gabbiano" che è quella visibile nella fotografia e che così allestita viene definita versione GT. Ha un cambio di velocità a 6 marce più retromarcia e come optional può essere dotata di un'alettone posteriore... anche questo visibile nella qui presente fotografia. Grazie al largo utilizzo di leghe metalliche leggere e fibra di carbonio il peso della vettura è contenuto in 885 chilogrammi. Mentre la maggior parte delle vetture sportive arriva a sopportare forze laterali del valore di 1,3/1,4 G... questa Dallara Stradale mantiene le ruote incollate al terreno fino a neutralizzare forze contrarie del valore di 2 G.
