Pescando sul lungomare di Catania, ho notato che questo uccellino veniva a rubare qualche bigattino che riusciva ad uscire dal sacchetto e che improvvidamente si avventurava sugli scogli. Così dopo qualche giorno insieme alla canna e la lenza da pesca (come si vede dietro all'uccellino) ho portato la fotocamera e ho fotografato questa femmina di Codirosso. Tengo a precisare che sono conscio che non è corretto foraggiare l'avifauna con vermi e similari, ma vista l'assidua frequentazione della scogliera da parte di pescatori amatoriali, questi, involontariamente forniscono costantemente un'integrazione alla dieta di uccelli insettivori come questo.
