, 1/500 f/5.6, ISO 200, hand held. Burano, Italy.

Even here, I don't want it but the wall is really intrusive.... I allow myself to make constructive criticisms only because I know that you are a real fan of photogtaphy, so take my words as advice and not as real criticisms also because we are all here to learn
Buona evening ;-)

But imagine, I rightly take them as criticisms and find them more than useful and for that I really thank you.
The process of these shots I explained well on the other photo, personally this was among the ones that convinced me the most :-|
Howe we just entered the orange zone maybe I see the various cuts again and propose them again.
I see a little bit if I can improve them or if it's better to leave them in the hardisck.

Original, Burano's classic view is strange and let me say abused, you wanted to take something new back. I agree on the wall!

Thank you Alessandro, for the moment these shots do not convince me at all but I appreciate your positive feedback.
A greeting, George.

I see now, this gallery of yours - you made a difficult choice and your approach as a landscaper, despite the good intentions, cheated you :-D - you wanted to make details, but in practice he used the medium telephoto as a wide angle - you see the search for compositional balance, but binding to the format would have required a balance to the left to reduce the anonymous impact of the wall ... and you missed the opportunity to take advantage of the 85mm, on bicycles for example - I took shots at the 5 Terre exclusively with 85mm ... which to be honest, definitely offer + ideas if you are looking for details ... and I admit to finding myself in difficulty in the use of wide-angle focal lengths ... where you, on the other hand, are perfectly at ease

Hello Maury, I think you were next to me that day since your description has fully centered my failed attempt. I
had high expectations from Burano, arrived on the island I try some photos with the wide angle but given the white sky I am somewhat disappointed and accomplice the desire to try 85mm, taken recently, I made the lens change, but with mediocre results as you well noticed.
Thanks for the positive feedback on the wide angles, soon I will publish the photos of the Azores, let's see if the good luck will continue or not :-D
Good Sunday, Giorgio

... It is not good luck, but competence and experience in the equipment you use - you are comfortable with wide angles (you see), you have tried the approach to medium telephoto .... probably in the least congenial place - x me, from Sestri Levante, the 5 lands are relatively close, as a playground - I had taken the habit of making the same exit, one day only with the 28th, another day with the 85, another day with fisheye .. -
I have fun like that :-|
