Chi non consce la baita Segantini? Tra gli appassionati di montagna e fotografia pochi, credo. Ha una storia la baita. La splendida baita Segantini fu ideata e costruita da un alpinista poeta, visionario, Alfredo Paluselli, uomo intelligente dotato di una grande creatività. Nel 1936 lasciò il mondo e si trasferì lassù a 2200m. Da solo costruì la baita tracciò la strada, che c'è ora, partendo da passo Rolle, inventò il laghetto che tanto contribuisce al fascino del luogo, voleva che la sua cima preferita il Cimon si specchiasse nelle acque ma non solo il Cimon tutte le pale di S.Martino si annunciano nello specchio d'acqua quando la stagione lo consente. Visse lassù per ben 35 anni in grandiosa solitudine, morì nel 1969 lasciando al mondo una costruzione icona della montagna che tanta ammirazione suscita. Fate una visita al monumento in bronzo vicino alla baita il viso scolpito dell'uomo Paluselli suscita rispetto e ammirazione. Alfredo Paluselli un eroe moderno. Dimenticavo, Paluselli essendo un ammiratore del grande pittore Segantini, anche lui Trentino, gli dedicò la baita ad imperitura memoria.
