Questa foto l'ho scattata a Firenze, Piazza della Repubblica, ad uno dei tanti presidi e manifestazioni a cui ho partecipato dal 30 maggio in poi, riguardante i lavoratori dello spettacolo. Io sono un musicista professionista e insieme ad attori, ballerini, fotografi, tecnici, maestranze varie, maschere etc. stiamo vivendo il momento peggiore per la nostra professione, inserito all'interno di una precarietà già consolidata in tempi di "pace", fatta di contratti inesistenti, partite IVA forzate, lavoro nero imposto e subìto. Facciamo parte di quella fetta di "sacrificabili" che ha smesso di lavorare da marzo in poi, con pochissime tutele e garanzie, con un accesso pressoché nullo agli ammortizzatori. Con la seconda ondata i primi a chiudere sono stati i teatri e le sale concerto, oltre ai locali rimasti (tanti hanno chiuso i battenti definitivamente già da marzo incapaci di far fronte alle spese correnti). E non si vede la luce in fondo al tunnel. Questa foto non è una recriminazione ma vuole essere semplicemente un invito a riflettere su una situazione che sta mettendo in ginocchio interi comparti lavorativi, fatti di singoli, famiglie, compagnie, gruppi, che si spendono quotidianamente per la bellezza e per la cultura, bisogni essenziali, sui quali questo stato di cose si sta rivelando nefasto - nel breve periodo lo è già, nel lungo lo sarà di certo - con importanti ricadute sociali che ancora non siamo in grado di valutare.
