Ivan Ciao, mi piace molto la luce che mette in risalto il soggetto, la maf selettiva data dal diaframma molto aperto, il diverso gradiente di luce fra la parte bassa e quella alta, la posa ed il sorriso della bellissima Giulia, ed in fine l'andamento prospettico a diagonali convergenti della ringhiera in primo piano e del fronte del palazzo in secondo piano.
Il tutto contribuisce al risalto del soggetto.
Se mi posso permettere, parere del tutto personale ed opinabile  , avrei rifilato la parte bassa all'altezza della sommità dei tubi in primo piano: l'ho notato facendo semplicemente scorrere l'immagine verso il basso, ne esce una immagine più pulita.
Questo tuttavia, non inficia la bontà di questo scatto.

Avevo immaginato anch'io che la scelta fosse dovuta a voler mantenere intatto il formato; sono situazioni nelle quali anch'io mi ci trovo spesso con il dubbio di tagliare o meno, poi casomai per non avere un formato un poco tozzo, lascio così con il rischio di mantenere elementi poco utili alla composizione, e qualcuno poi me lo fa notare.
Ti confido che ho ragionato in questo modo sulla scorta del ricordo di una foto del tutto simile alla tua, che scattai a mia moglie nel lontano '92 sulle scale di un palazzo storico di Verona ed anche lì dovetti rifilare la stampa nella parte bassa in quanto spuntava un cartello segnaletico ... su palo
